Chevron Amethyst Crystal Healing Properties:

Holds all the usual properties of Amethyst - calming, healing, intuition, meditation, protection, purifying and spiritual growth, Chevron Amethyst is a little different with its combination of White Quartz.

The Quartz boosts these Amethyst properties, bringing in its own properties of amplification, cleansing, energising and powerful master healing properties.

The two together in this crystal formation brings a powerful stimulating energy to the Brow and Crown Chakras, making it a great choice of crystal to work with for enhancing intuition, deepened meditation practices, spiritual healing, journeying and vision work.

Chevron Amethyst is believed to encourage drive, inspiration, and motivation. Good for those who resist change, this crystal is believed to help us adapt, accept and learn to flow with changes that life can bring.

It helps the user to carry inner strength and courage, forming a powerful healing field around its owner. It is great for cleansing the aura and stimulating the immune system.

Chevron Amethyst History and Uses:

Whilst there are no historical descriptions specifically of the Chevron Amethyst through the ages, the amethyst itself originates from the Greek word Ametusthos which means not intoxicated. Amethyst can range in colour from lilac pink, to purple red to deep purple. In ancient times the Romans inlaid their cups with Amethyst believing it would protect them from drunkenness. Catholic bishops wore Amethyst rings to prevent mystical intoxication and kissing the ring was thought to keep people focused on spiritual thoughts. It was used for protection from black magic and treachery and to ensure victory in war and in hunting.
